I am a Brazilian guy living in Washington DC.
Since I was a child I've been interested in spirituality. It started when I read my father's books from Lobsang Rampa, Erick von Daniken and Shirley Mclaine.
I frequented kardecism, gnosis, Brazil's Peace University (where I made contact with Pierre Weil and Jean-Yves Leloup), groups of yoga and aikido (which I presently practice), pathwork, among others. I went into individual therapy, tarot reading, palmistry, had my birth chart made and interpreted three times (I am taurus with ascendant and moon in sagitarius). I also read Eckhard Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Phamahansa Yogananda, Patanjali, The Bhagavad Gita, Neale D. Walsch, among many other wonderful inspirational writers and books.
The most significant training I had was a course on biopsychology with Susan Andrews, with whom I learned how to meditate, to relax, to be in contact with my deepest self, to open my 4th chakra and so many other empowering teachings. I am wholeheartedly thankful to Susan for making me aware of such wonderful practices and such rich knowledge.
Because of my work, I've travelled all over the world and lived in three continents, in four different countries.
My present challenge is to bring all this knowledge and practices and experiences into my daily life, to transform myself, to become a truly loving and caring being, to experience wholeness everyday. My goal is to contribute to changing the world for the better.
It's wonderful to know that I am not alone in this journey. It's wonderful to have found the gaia community and be part of it.
